Grown-up Advent Calendar ?
It's December 1st today, put your hand up if you still like to open an advent calendar?! This year, Selfridges has launched a Luxury Brand Advent Calendar titled ‘All I Want This Christmas.’ The gift set offers a variety of beauty products such as designer fragrances, luxury mascaras, lip glosses, moisturisers and more. 24 products are featured behind each window of the calendar by brands including Lancôme, Shu Uemura, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Viktor & Rolf, Kiehl’s and Stella McCartney.
I think this is a good idea, but the gifts could of been better! £60 is a bit steep for the sample sized products and contains mainly those naff freebie gifts that you never end up using, give me a choc advent calendar any day over this!

This is a charming idea, but you're right, that is a lot of money for sample sizes! Happy beginning of December!
ReplyDeleteI have this calendar! I love it!!! The doors are fairly big too. I can't wait to see what I get through the month! I greedily wanted a choc one too but resisted!

Lovely idea, I wouldn't mind if someone else bought it for me, but I don't think I'd spend £60 on samples, like you said x
