Pure Papaya Ointment is 100% natural and free from petrochemicals. In addition to papaya, active ingredients include soothing calendula, shea butter, jojoba oil, macadamia oil and vitamin E. The papaya/calendula combination is particularly soothing for dry skin and can be used on chapped, dry or irritated skin including face, hands and lips. It helps to protect against the effects of the wind and cold, and due to its skin-nourishing properties, helps to promote skin elasticity.
The new Papaya Ointment from Phytocare will be launching from January 2011, priced at £9.99 for 25g and £19.99 for 100g. Stockists will include http://www.purepapaya.co.uk/ and selected independent health stores.
I don't know that papaya can be an ointment too. Anyway, I love its uses. I would try it sometime.
ReplyDeleteIt really does work very well if you like the scent and taste or if you use it on your hands or other parts of your body where you aren't going to taste it then it won't be a problem. The papaya and calendula combination is great for dry skin and soothing and is perfect if the horrible cold weather has made your hands chapped and sore. It is also good to slather some on before going out in the wind and the cold to protect from further damage. The product is well price with simple classic packaging that is easy to use so you don't dispense too much at once.
