I've been testing out a couple of Melvita body creams recently (review of which coming soon!) and was pleased to hear that they are set to launch a new Algascience collection. Based on the medicinal and therapeutic principles of professional French spa therapy Balneotherapy, Melvita have developed a range of targeted bodycare products to prepare the body for summer time exposure and reduce the appearance of cellulite for a toned appearance. The Melvita Algascience product range comprises five products, each rich in minerals and containing seaweed to tone and firm the body, improving the appearance of skin. Products include: Slimming Oil, £21.00 for 100ml (pictured here); Sculpting Gel, £26.00 for 150ml; Contouring Cream, £26.00 for 150ml; Seaweed Body Scrub, £16.00 for 150ml; and Exfoliating Bath Soap, priced £5.00 for 250g. NAIL ROCK has teamed up with Kylie Minogue to create a limited edition 'Aphrodite' set of Nail Wraps to be sold as part of her official merchandise range for the new 'Aphrodite Les Folies' tour. Models Own Pro
Models Own are launching a salon formula range of nail polishes called Models Own Pro. The polishes contain 'Grows Fast. Fades Slow' technology – a combination of vitamin E and UV filters that both aids nail growth and prevents colour fade. In addition, Models Own Pro polishes, priced at £8.00 each, are free from formaldehyde, toluene and DBP. Initially the line will consist of 54 limited edition colours and will be exclusively available from Boots, in the newly installed professional nail care section launching on 28 March. The roll out of this new dedicated professional nail care line will include prestige salons, spas and leading department stores.

GREEN PEOPLE is launching its first fairtrade certified and certified organic baby products for the upcoming Fairtrade Fortnight (28 February – 13 March). The new Organic Babies by Green People range includes Soothing Baby Salve and Nappy Cream Baby Balm that contain Fairtrade Shea butter from a Women’s Cooperative in Northern Ghana. This ensures the producers receive a fair price for the butter, which in turn ensures the community of 600 women benefit from a fair wage and good working conditions.
