Superdrug Beauty Loyalty Card
Superdrug are set to follow Boots and are launching a loyalty card scheme, called the 'Beauty Card' - about time! Customers can earn points in store and online that can be redeemed in store – much like the Boots Advantage Card.
The card will launch on 11th May and to celebrate customers can earn 50 bonus points for every £5 spent on Superdrug branded products in store until 7th June, whilst online during the same period customers will receive 10 points per pound on all shopping. The BeautyCard will offer one point for every pound spent, and every 100 points will translate to a pound spent in store.
Although I’m pleased to hear they are rewarding their loyal customers when you have to spend £100 to get £1 back, it seems a little feeble compared to the Boots card, whereby 4 points are collected for every £1 spent.
What do you think?
Superdrug
i'm definitely sticking to boots their advantage card! £100 spent = £1 back? rubbish lol

I think it's definitely long overdue for Superdrug, but the Boots advantage card is still better in terms of value! I do actually make a point of buying everything from Boots instead of Superdrug so that I get points too (unless something is only available in Superdrug).

oh my gosh it's insane how much you have to spend to get a £1 back. the boots card seems a lot better as well as they have vouchers in the machine, like 250 points if you spend x amount. great post, thanks for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteOh dear. There is really no poiunt in this card is there? As if this card is going to make people want to shop at Superdrug as opposed to Boots?! I think I shall be sticking to Boots tbh! xo
ReplyDeleteGlad you did the maths for it because I couldn't work it out! The Boots rewards seem a lot better.

ReplyDeletethe superdrug in store promotions will all have bonus points attached to them, trust me its better than boots one.
ReplyDeleteumm this is like the nectar card when nothing is never going to happen unless you buy petrol or a flight with it. first blog post which I have read which really us how it could reward us, thank you xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris - I read from the press release sent by superdrug? Do you work for superdrug? If so please email me the updated info!
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd say that I have a loyalty card for everywhere I can, even if I hardly ever shop there, because at the end of the day if I'm shopping there anyway the points are an added bonus, so sign me up for the Superdrug card, as I do shop in there quite regularly, as I love the Gosh cosmetics, so the extra points are great :D On another note it has taken me years to collect enough points from Sainsbury’s to get a £10 Amazon voucher lol :D x
ReplyDeletei still don't think the Superdrug card is amazing, i mean, yes you get 250 points on your birthday. but with boots u can print out vouchers which get you 250 points on a £35+ spend, and various vouchers through the post, along with the 4 points per pound. when i want to buy something i check both boots and superdrug anwyay, and don't let points sway me, i'm more interested in saving cash and luckily for me the boots and superdrug are close by so i can compare prices
ReplyDeleteStacey i have given you a taster of what to expect, there is much more than just 250 bonus points on your birthday! Do you really think superdrug are goin to be as stingy as that! There are still things about the scheme the staff don't know!
ReplyDeleteyou guys should wait for the Beauty card release and pick one up and try it. I think they'll have loads of promotions which will top up your points alot.
