Kate Middleton the High Street Queen!

Down-to-earth Kate Middleton was spotted shopping in Topshop today - which is right up our street! Kate surprised fellow shoppers by browsing the Kensington High Street store, using the changing rooms and queuing at the tills. Her total bill came to £110 and included a trendy teal spotted pencil skirt (£35), a classic cobalt blue velvet-trimmed boucle jacket (£65), and a pair of golf feather earrings (£10). All items have now sold out at Topshop - but I am certain will shall see alternatives popping up all over the high street.

I'd love to see Kate being more daring and out there with her fashion choices - I think she dresses too old for her age at times - what do you think?

John Lewis Trade In Event: Free Ojon Shampoo & Conditioner!

The full size shampoo and conditioner are worth £40 - so this definitely not one to be missed! Ojon is a brand that I have been dying to try for ages after hearing good reviews of the Damage Reserve Treatment. Have you tried any Ojon products?

I'm Back & Little Update

Ola! I'm back from my little holiday! It was very relaxing, very hot and much needed. I packed lightly (for once!) and only took hand luggage with me I was fairly good and only bought a couple of essential makeup items, which I shall share with you over the weekend. I was totally stress-free, well until I landed back to the UK, went to collect my car and found I had flat tyres! :-( 


Being a typical girl I had no idea what to do, how to change a tyre or even if I had a spare tyre! I wasn't an AA member as I thought having a new car I don't need breakdown cover...silly me ended up costing me £140 to join on the spot so learn from my mistake! FYI: it only costs £8 for a years AA cover if you go through this free cashback site!

Luckily my friend came to the rescue and put me up for the night, not that we got a wink of sleep, then phoned the AA man the next morning who located the spare tyre (it was under the boot) and just my luck after fitting the spare tyre the valve broke off! I was even more angry to find out that someone had deliberately pierced my tyres in the side and also scratched one side of my car badly :( What the hell is wrong with some people?! 


So after a flight, 2 trains, a taxi, towed to the garage, 3 new tyres, and £250 down the drain I am finally home! Karma will eventually catch up with the tyre slashing culprit :/

Holidays

Just a quick post to let you know I'm off on holidays tomorrow morning! It was a last minute booking - I am definitely in need of a break and some sunshine :) I'm spending a week in Gibraltar & Marbella. I may do a couple of blog posts if I can - but maybe busy hard at work topping up my tan ;)

Tom Ford Lipstick Love

As soon as I saw the front cover of October's Vogue Magazine - featuring Adele I noticed how gorgeous her makeup was, in particular her lipstick. It's none other than Tom Ford Lipstick  priced at £36! Personally I couldn't justify spending that amount on a lipstick, could you?

I'm yet to see this lipstick in the flesh but when I do I shall be hunting down for a good dupe - so let me know in the comments if you find any :)
