The Matte Factor Liquid Lipsticks

The Matte Factor are new liquid lipsticks from Miners cosmetics! They have just recently launched these innovative range of trend inspired matte lip paints. Bright Matte Lips were seen all over the catwalks at Fashion Week; Jil Saunders used Chanel makeup to create Matte Lips on her S/S 2012 show but the Miner version is far more purse friendly. They have been specially created to paint you lips with vibrant and full bodied colour leaving a gorgeous matte, velveteen finish - these 'liquid lipsticks' are completely unique.

The Matte Factor Lip Paints
The collection consists of six long-lasting fashion forward shades, covering every angel of the catwalk from fun and flirty, sexy and seductive to floaty and feminine. The Matte Factor is available in Deep Red (Berry Shade); Cappuccino (Dark Nude); Hot Pink (Neon); Light Pink (Baby pink); Peach (Coral); and Warm Red (Retro orange-red).

The packaging and consistency in the applicator are similar to the Collection 2000 Cream Puff Matte Lip Creams. Normally I would stay clear of Matte Lipsticks as they are terribly drying - they tend to cling onto dry chapped lips - not a good look! The Matte Factor have an usual texture and are lovely and creamy, apply like a dream and are moisturising. They are super easy to apply with the build in wand and smell like caramel - yum! They also double up as a lovely cream blusher and with them having brilliant staying power they are long-lasting on lips as well as on the cheeks compared to normal cream blushers that tend to slip off the face after a couple of hours wear. I like to use 'Hot Pink' on my cheeks for a natural pink flush and Warm Red on the lips.

The Matte Factor Lip Paints are £3.99 each and are available from Miners. Are you a fan of the Matte Lips Trend?

  5. I wasn't familiar with the brand tbh... I like the fact that they're matte. I don't like glossy lipstick and lipgloss.

  7. These look really nice, something I would buy. I went on the Miners website, but couldnt find anything about their policies - do they test their products on animals? If so, I wouldnt buy from them personally.

Thank you for sharing! :) Maybe I can check the other products in store and find out. x
