March 2012 She Said Beauty Box

I was in London yesterday for the day and was a nice surprise to arrive home to my first She Said Beauty box! She Said Beauty is the newest Beauty Box Subscription service whereby you pay £9 each month plus P&P and in return you receive a lovely little package in the post. The She Said Beauty box is all about YOU. Each month, they handpick 5 special products that they have fallen in love with and eventually aim to tailor your box to suit based on your online beauty profile. Occasionally they will surprise you with a 'bonus' freebie in your box. Along with a free online Beauty Magazine, there is an online Social Community to discover, learn and share with others your passion and experiences in beauty.

I like that they send out the boxes on the 1st day of the Month as it's a nice way to begin the month and these boxes stand out with the mint green and bright pink packaging! As usual the products are presented in a box within a box and everything is beautifully wrapped in bright pink tissue, pink ribbon and straw. I couldn't help but notice when opening the box was how nice it smelt - I'm not sure if it was the scent from the flowering tea or the spa products - but it smelt divine! I was really intrigued to see what was going to be in their first box and I'm very impressed - each product is right up my street and I couldn't wait to try everything out straight away!

Orly Manicure Miniature in Black Out (worth £2.65)
Another Black Nail Polish! I seem to be acclimating loads of Black Nail Polish at the moment! How many Black Nail Polishes does a girl need?!  These dinky bottles are the perfect for travelling and I love the gripped handle makes applying a doddle. The polish came with a bonus Orly nail file.

Comfort Zone Good Night Kit (worth approx £10)
Not heard of this brand before but I believe they are part of Davines?? I have since learnt its Italian advance skincare range for visiable and immediate results using ancient traditions, and contemporary rituals with 100% energy from renewable resources. The Good Night Kit is a face anti-oxidant kit containing a night cream and a complex and I shall look forward to trying these.

We Are Faux Eyelashes in Vixen (worth £9)
This is another full size product and I was very excited to receive these as heard they have just recently been launched and I love their simple packaging. The lashes are handmade from high quality synthetic fibers to give eyes a striking effect - I can't wait to try these out!

Aveda Smooth Infusion Trio (worth £3.35)
I have tried this range from Aveda before and enjoyed using to prevent frizz but these small sample sizes shall come in handy when I'm travelling and want to pack light. The Trio pack comes with Shampoo, Condition and Style-prep Smoother to ensure you get that salon feel at home.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Power Puff (worth £2.99)
This is a full size product and I love the texture, has a velvet matt finish but they are super moisturising and creamy and  smells like toffee - A winner for me!

*Bonus* Jing Flowering Dragon Eye Tea (worth £3)
I'm a tea drinker and never say no to a cuppa! This flowering green tea bag consists of a green tea bud, golden marigold, pure white jasmine blossoms and a red amaranth flower which blossoms when infused - they look interesting!

I love all the items in this box, especially the Lashes and Cream Puff as they are products I've been meaning to try for a while. I like the packaging and that this month there are 2 bonus items which is a nice touch. I quite like the idea of getting 'lifestyle' items such as tea bags in the box. I've totted up the value of the products and they come to approx. £30.99 which is great considering the box only costs £9 currently on special offer for £6.75 plus P&P!

She Said Beauty boxes cost £9 plus P&P but they are on offer at the moment 25% off your first box £6.45 or save even more with a 6 month or 12 month subscription! Have you subcribed to the new She Said Beauty box yet?
