Review: Jemma Kidd Pro Skin Rescue Bio - Complex Veil, Flat Top Foundation Brush & Dewy Glow

I recently had the chance of trying out some of Jemma Kidd Pro hero products and I am super impressed with everything, the quality is amazing, and I love the sleek packaging. First up is the Jemma Kidd Pro Skin Rescue Bio-Complex Veil is an anti-aging complex and multi-tasking product combining a moisturiser, skin repairer, primer, illuminator, tint, protects skin, adds vitamins and SPF 15.

The Skin Veil comes in a nice long sleek black tube with a pump action, and one pump is enough for the whole face! The veil has a mousse - like texture that blends in effortlessly using the flat top foundation brush. I used the shade Y1 which is for cool undertones (they do another shade P1 for warm skin tones) and when I first squeezed the product out I thought it was going to be the wrong colour for me as it looked too warm and too dark, however once blended into the skin it was the perfect match.

The veil is light-weight and has a transparent coverage so let's you still see your skin but evens out the skin tone - if you prefer a heavier coverage you can always apply your foundation over the top as it gives the perfect flawless base. It gave my skin a lovely smooth, radiant glowy 'no makeup makeup look' finish and I really noticed the difference after about 30 minutes of settling into my skin. I would suggest applying a small amount of mineral powder across the forehead and T-zone as I thought it made me look a little too shiny. It lasted really well on my skin all day and still looked fresh in the evening! I would definitely recommend trying this if you like a natural looking base or to enhance your skin underneath your foundation instead of your usual primer.

The Jemma Kidd Pro Flat Top Foundation Brush is lovely, and although its far smaller than my other Flat Top Makeup Brushes, it makes applying foundation around the eyes and nose super easy as it's the perfect shape to blend around those awkward places and creates a seamless finish. The brush is made from synthetic material and is ideal for buffing in the Skin Rescue to create a natural look super soft and it really stands out from the rest of my makeup brushes with the hot pink and black handle. It is a versatile brush and would also be great for applying cream blusher or highlighter to the tops of the cheeks or applying setting powder underneath the eyes. I have been reaching for this brush more than my usual foundation brush and it has now got pride of place in my make up bag.

Jemma Kidd Pro Skin Rescue Bio-Complex Veil is priced at £32 and Jemma Kidd Pro Flat Top Foundation Brush is priced at £20 both are available from Look FantasticFeel UniqueBeauty Bay.

Jemma Kidd Pro Dewy Glow All over Radiance Creme - absolutely adore this product - In fact I have been using it daily to create that nice healthy glowy 'no makeup makeup look' that I love at the moment. Since I had my lash extensions done 4 weeks ago (and still going strong - review coming up soon!) I have hardly worn much makeup - BB Cream, a dab of concealer, blusher/bronzer and lip balm and I'm ready to go! I already own MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl (£13.50 from Selfridges) which I thought was a nice product until I tried this Jemma Kidd version, which in my opinion is miles better!

The Jemma Kidd packaging is much nicer as it comes in a nice compact with a mirror and you get so much more product for your money compared to MAC CCB. I find that the MAC Cream Colour Base is quite greasy and tends to slip off the face after a couple of hours and doesn't last very long on the skin. The Dewy Glow is fantastic, it's much creamier in texture and provides a lovely sheen to the skin that lasts all night! I apply it on the top of my cheekbones, to highlight my brow bones and above my top lip. This product is so versatile it looks lovely on pale skin to create that glossy, clean base that is popular at the moment and it would also look fabulous with a tan - I can't wait to use it in the Summer.

Jemma Kidd Pro Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme is priced at £17 and available from Look FantasticFeel Unique, Beauty Bay.

Have you tried any of the hero products from Jemma Kidd Pro makeup before?
