It comes in three shades: light, medium and dark - and has skin adapting technology to adapt to your own skin. I tried the Medium shade which was perfect for my colouring (normally I'm a MAC NW15/20 if I'm not tanned). The BB Cream is much thicker in consistency than other BB Creams and gives a full coverage but is still lightweight on the skin. It was easy to blend and buff into the skin - I tend to rub in with my fingers rather than using a brush and there is no need in using a powder to set. I found the finish to be matte and I think this would be great for oily skins. I did however find the formulation slightly drying in areas where I'm prone to dryness such as around the nose and forehead so I would suggest using a good serum and moisturiser underneath but overall I think this is a great BB Cream for those on a budget as it is the cheapest currently on the market.
MUA All in One Beauty Balm Foundation is priced at £4 and shall be available from 14th March at Superdrug and www.muastore.co.uk

I use Garniers Beauty Balm 'Miracle', it also has an SPF in it that I like. I reviewed it and the scientific claims they make on my blog - http://skepticalbeauty.wordpress.com/2011/11/13/garnier-miracle-skin-perfector-b-b-cream-behind-the-claims/
ReplyDeleteThe texture of this looks quite good, especially for the price :)
ReplyDeleteI've tried the Garnier and I didn't like it, it was too dark for my pale skin. My fave BB Cream so far is Skin79 it is a true BB cream from Korea. I'd definitely love to try the MUA BB Cream :) Thanks for blogging about it.

I am a bit confused with this, I believed that BB Creams are supposed to be a tinted moisturiser with all the good bits thrown in... If you have to use a moisturiser as well this clearly misses the point?
ReplyDeleteDefo think I will be trying this! £4 is such fab value!

I loved the coverage from Garnier but it was way too oily for my skin. 17 has left me feeling a little meh -not enough coverage, difficult to blend. This sounds like one I absolutely have to try!
