Max Benjamin Lemongrass & Ginger Natural Wax Candle

Max Benjamin is an Irish candle-making company that  use a blend of soy bean, canola, beeswax and coconut wax from 100% natural resources. The Max Benjamin candles contain no paraffin - a petroleum based product which causes harm to the environment and they are biodegradable, and from a renewable and sustainable resource. The natural wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot, is slow burning and free from pesticides and genetically modified material.

Creating the fragrance is an art in blending the finest selection of oils and these aromas all have holistic properties designed to de- stress, relax and calm your mind. You can choose from their aroma collection of floral, fruity, herb, cirtus, woody and spice to create various ambiances in your home.

I am a huge lover of candles, and normally have quite a few dotted around the house. This Lemongrass & Ginger is an uplifting blend of oils to liven your spirits and the aroma has a cleansing nature perfect for Spring. The candle is set in a clean white ceramic jar with the lemon yellow front fits in perfectly with my bedroom.

Max Benjamin Candles cost £19.95 and is available from John Lewis. Are you a candle fan? Have you tried Max Benjamin candles?

  2. I love that scent combo! Other than being uplifting, ginger is best known to aid digestion and is commonly used to soothe, comfort, and balance digestive discomfort. It is warming to the skin when added to massage oil and traditionally used to comfort the body during colder seasons. In India Lemongrass is known as 'choomana poolu' and is also referred to as 'Indian Verbena' and used in Ayurvedic medicine to help bring down fevers and treat infectious illnesses.used together they are a powerhouse!
