Coloristiq Nail Polish Rental Service

Coloristiq is a new service allowing you to rent Nail Polishes instead of buying them. I have to admit my first thoughts were why would I do this? However thinking about it, it's very rare that I end up finishing a full bottle of nail polish as I am always discovering new shades or brands! It would be interesting for me to count how many polishes I own that are unloved or dried up!

Coloristiq is a monthly subscription service for those that like to experiment with new colours and try professional quality brands such as OPI, Essie and China Glaze every month without the need to buy and store endless bottles.

The polishes are delivered in a small cardboard box and are very well wrapped up in sturdy plastic wrapping. The colours I received were all from China Glaze 'Tip Your Hat', 'De-light' and 'Pine-ing for Glitter' which are all quite festive shades. I do hope that they extend their colour range, as it is limited at the moment and it's no surprise that I already own most of the colours listed on their website!

Subscribers simply select shades they wish to try and add to a wish list. Three bottles from the wish list is delivered to your door to enjoy at home for a period of 30 days costing £9.99 including postage and packaging. There is a fair use policy which allows you to use each bottle for three applications. You simply return the polishes for free after your 30 days to receive your next three colours!

What do you think to this service? Would you rather rent nail polishes than buy?

POP ART COLLECTOR'S EDITION GLOSSYBOX

Thought I would share GLOSSYBOX's special Pop Art Collector's Edition box to give you a flavour of their limited edition boxes. I absolutely love the art work on the box and I was excited over a couple of the products inside the box too although I don't think the contents is thrilling.

However, this month GLOSSYBOX have partnered with HARVEY NICHOLS for their Christmas Edit box bringing you the ultimate edit of beauty treats worth over £150! This box is AMAZING value for money and their best box to date, you can read my review here. If you are thinking of treating yourself or buying for a Christmas present then be quick to order as there is a limited number of boxes available! So onto the contents of the Pop Art Collector's edition box:

NUXE Creme Fraiche de Beaute Mask (*full size* worth £19.50)
I am a huge NUXE fan and I haven't tried this mask so I'm excited to receive this product and I'd be happy with this product alone! This is a 24hr moisturising mask which hydrates and soothes the skin, instantly reducing discomfort or redness.

Etre Belle Cosmetics LipLift Peel (*full size* worth £12.95)
I haven't heard about this brand before but looks interesting - a moisturising lip exfoliator. It is also quite a pricey product for such a small tube.

So Susan Cosmetics Flutter Mascara (*full size* worth £14.95)
This is not a brand that I am familiar with and I am surprised by the price of this mascara as to me the packaging makes it look 'cheap'.

Ciate London Paint Pot (*full size* worth £9)
I love Ciate polishes they are great quality and highly pigmented. I received the shade 'Talent Scout' which is a dark purple colour.

Yves Rocher France Quelques Notes D'Amour (worth £5.50)
I am not a fan of the products I have tried from this brand so far. This scent encapsulates the feeling o falling in love through fusing notes of damascus rose, guaiac wood and patchouli.

Bonus Product: Rimmel London BB Cream Matte (worth £1.86)
This is a little bonus product but not for me as I find this BB cream quite orange on me! So I shall pass this on to a friend.

Although I love the art work on this limited edition GLOSSYBOX I would be a little disappointed with the product selection, even though it contained four full sized products, if it wasn't for the NUXE face mask. I have totted up the value of the products and it comes to roughly £63.76 which for £10 (plus £2.95 P&P) is good value! You can find out more and order your own GLOSSYBOX here. Make sure you also check out the AMAZING Limited Edition Christmas Harvey Nichols for Glossybox here

So onto this month's GLOSSYBOX

Lollipops Make Up Eye Pencil (*full size* worth £14)
This is a new brand discovery for me from France and my first thoughts are I love the funky packaging and the product seems good quality and highly pigmented. This is a retractable eye pencil providing a deep colour finish with a long-lasting result. The pencil contains Vitamin E with anti-ageing and anti-radical action.

Burt's Bees Lip Shine (*full size* worth £6.99)
I love the Burt's Bees brand but not yet tried these lip shines which sound perfect for Winter being moisturising with a slight berry tint. This is 100% natural, sheer colour enriched with moisturising Apricot Wax glides on lips for a sweet and super shiny finish.

H2O+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment (worth £2.20)
I have tried a few products from this spa-like range which is availble exclusively at Marks and Spencer. This is an oil-free moisture gel that delivers deep hydration while minimising the appearance of fine lines.

MONU Skincare Refining Capri Facial Oil (worth £7.80)
I love this brand and enjoyed all the products I've tried so far! This is an invigorating facial oil to balance oily skin and decongest pores to ensure breakouts remain a thing of the past.

Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker (*Full Size* worth £8)
This is dubbed as a miracle worker that uses age-old beauty ingredients that instantly and visibly transforms even the most dry, frizzy coarse hair.

This month's GLOSSYBOX had a nice selection of products and included three full sized products. I am most excited about the Monu Skincare item and Burt's Bees Lip Shine as these are two brands that I absolutely love! I have totted up the value of the products and it comes to roughly £38.99 which for £10 (plus £2.95 P&P) is good value! You can find out more and order your own GLOSSYBOX here. Review: fBeauty Boutique London

The Facial Treatment Room

FashionTV have launched fBeauty Boutique on South Molton Street, London. The boutique houses four private rooms offering facial treatments and a Beauty 'cocktail menu' of make-overs and hair styling to get you ready for any occasion. The store offers a small range of beauty products to purchase from HD Brows, Bellapierre Mineral Makeup, Cloud Nine, Embroylisse and Gold Elements.

I was invited in to try out the services on offer last week which began with The Signature Gold Elements Facial (50 minutes priced at £100). This is an award-winning facial packed with vitamins and anti-oxidants. The facial was performed by Sam Meyre, who not only is a skin expert but offers advice on diet and lifestyle. Sam said that the open pores I have on my cheeks could mean I was lacking in iron and he suggested I eat more greens/spinach.

Although luxurious Gold Element products were used, the facial focused on results rather than being a 'spa-like' relaxing experience. The facial began with a skin scan using a skin analysis machine and the treatment room felt clinical with bright lights and club music playing. Sam wore rubber gloves throughout the facial which I have not come across before but it is much more hygienic. My skin was left deeply cleansed after the D'or Facial Peel and felt soft and glowing after the treatment.

The end result after The Signature Gold Elements Facial and Hair & Makeup
To finish my makeover, the lovely and talented makeup artist Natasha Daniel mixed and matched two looks from their Beauty Cocktail Menu - 'Golden Cadillac' gold and black smokey eye makeup with 'Sparkling Black Russian' bouncy wavy hair (Hair & Makeup takes 1 hour and is priced at £50).

I was impressed with the finished look and it took the ease out of getting ready in a hurry for an event I was attending that evening. If you have a party or special occasion to get ready for I would recommend visiting the boutique and let the hair and beauty experts take care of you whilst you only need to think about sipping champagne!

GLOSSYBOX have partnered with HARVEY NICHOLS this Christmas to bring you the ultimate edit of beauty treats worth over £150! The box is bursting with the most popular beauty brands and products available from their iconic beauty hall.

The box is AMAZING value as 'Show Beauty' full size product is £30 alone! This limited edition box would make a great gift to yourself or a beauty loving friend for Christmas! Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (worth £17.40)
Laura Mercier's lightweight, creamy gel to be applied prior to foundation, to prepare the skin and create an invisible layer that acts as a buffer to outside elements. This is a generous sized sample and I look forward to trying to create the perfect canvas for makeup application.

Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum (worth £19.17)
This is a pricey Dermalogica product I am yet to try and again is a generous sized sample. This night-time supercharged peptide serum contains Argan and Rose oils to help increase luminosity, and encourage collagen-producing activities to help minimise fine lines.

NARS Mini Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien (worth £13.90)
NARS Satin Lip Pencil is rich in bright pigments that are drenched in decadent moisture for an ultra-creamy finish achieving maximum coverage. Every subscriber will receive the same shade 'Rikugien' which is a rose pink colour.

Rodial Bee Venom Moisturiser (worth £15)
This moisturiser is an advanced formula that revitalises and renews skin for naturally younger looking skin using stem cell technology. I have not tried anything from this bee venom range and this is an extremely pricey product so looking forward to testing if I can see any results!

Benefit They're Real Mascara (worth £6.88)
Benefit's jet black, long-wearing formula that won't smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had! This mascara is amazing and I'm happy to have a mini to add to my makeup bag.

Macadamia Oil (worth £1.75)
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment is a therapeutic oil for all hair types. It's instantly absorbed, lightweight and non-greasy and provides intense nourishment, leaving hair ultra-smooth, manageable and shiny.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (worth £20.25)
A dynamic anti-aging cream which dramatically increases the skin's elasticity, suppleness and hydration levels. This high tech cream penetrates the skin's layers at a deeper level. This moisturiser is a favourite of mine so I'm happy to have a mini tube to use when I'm travelling.

La Coupe Intensive Hair Repair (*full size* worth £3.50)
A luxurious deep treatment infused with a hydrating blend of certified organic coconut oil, macadamia oil and cocoa seed butter for weightless yet deep hydration. I have not heard of this brand before but is right up my street being paraben free and claims to rehydrate dry hair.

Harvey Nichols Mini Scented Candle (worth £7.50)
The Harvey Nichols Mini Candle set compromises four scents: Dining, Party, Bathing and Sleeping. Your candle is the perfect introduction to the set. I am obsessed with candles so I'm extremely happy to receive this!
Show Beauty Premier Dry Shampoo (*full size* worth £30)
I have not tried this brand but read many rave reviews of this product so I'm excited to try! This dry shampoo is super pricey but promises to add body and texture to hair whilst soaking up excess oils, dirt and odours. It leaves hair shiny and glossy not matte like some other dry shampoos can look chalky which I'm not a fan of.

O.P.I Viking Nail Polish (*full size* worth £12)
Inspired by the volcanic rock in Iceland. Every subscriber will receive the same shade 'Viking In a Vinter Vonderland' which is a deep purple colour.

I think this is THE BEST Glossybox to date - It is a nice selection of luxury and pampering products for the winter season, I love all the brands and products and it is superb value for money! Be quick to order as there are only a limited amount of these special boxes available and will surely sell out very quickly! You can find out more and order your own GLOSSYBOX here.
